I have to admit, I’m pretty excited about Super 8. Obviously the vibe they’re going for in the trailer is early 80′s Spielberg, and boy did they nail it. The music, the visuals, the kids, the mystery – it all screams Spielberg. It’s no surprise really. The movie is being produced by the man himself and directed by a guy who was a teenager when E.T. came out in theaters. The fact that I’m a J.J. Abrams fan from Lost and the newest Star Trek helps, and, of course I think the first twenty years of Spielberg’s career includes many of the greatest movies ever made.
And if the movie sucks, I can always just watch this trailer over and over.
